Easter baskets

I made this Easter basket and thought it was so versatile, I've made 5 more.  I love boxes and bags and prefer making them to making cards.  I downloaded the free cutting file from here.

This is called the berry basket. Ashley is so generous to share her files for free.  Anyway, here it is

I bought some mini eggs and here is the basket filled.

The other five which I have made are predominantly pink.  It's a bit early for Easter baskets, I hope I don't break into the filled bag full of mini eggs ;)

My very first tag!

I've never made a tag before but a friend's husband offered to cut me some wooden tags so I had a go this afternoon.

I used Arianna Blooms die from Heartfelt Creations, with Arianna Lace being placed under the flower.  The sentiment is a Stampin Up one.  Quite simple really, I thought I'd start with something not too difficult.

Thank you for reading.

Back in the groove after Christmas

Hope everybody had a good Christmas (if there is anyone reading this, that is!).  I decided to get my craft stuff out this afternoon and made two cards.  Both simple cards but it took me all afternoon.  I guess the more I do, the quicker I will get.  This is made from the Elegant Labels 4 die from Spellbinders.

This first one took the longest as I had to do some die cutting.

Although I have nobody in mind to give this card to, I'm sure that sooner of later, I will think of someone.  I love Stampin' Up sentiment stamps, they have such a huge selection.

The next card was done much quicker, although I had to die cut the flower (Arianna Blooms from Heartfelt Creations) but I love making flowers and have loads scattered around my craft room.  I just didn't have any red ones pre-made!  The Arianna Blooms die has a matching rubber stamp set and is so easy to cut.

I think this one will make a great card for a man - and men's cards are so difficult to make.  I'm sure the men in my life will overlook one little flower.

Happy weekend!

Scenery cards

I just got my starter kit from Inkylicious and couldn't wait to have a go.  With it you get three ink dusters which are double ended, some fabulous card, four small Memento ink pads and some stamps.  After making the first one I was hooked!  Here are my first two -

They are so quick to make and I started looking up tutorials on Youtube and there are loads to watch.

These are some Christmas ones which I totally cased from Kimber Creations although hers are far nicer than mine.  I need more practice I think!

Made with just three ink pads!  I used Marina Mist, Night of Navy and Mossy Meadow, all by Stampin' Up .

Hope that everybody is enjoying making their Christmas cards!

More Christmas goodies

I've been busy today making cards and bags and things.  Here are a couple of things I've made.

These were made using the Stampin' Up Curvy Keepsake Box again.  I saw these on Pinterest and couldn't resist having a go.     Although they aren't huge, they are big enough to hold a Yankee votive candle.

These were made from an SVG file which I bought from SVG Cuts online.  They are called the Tied Surprise box.  I imported the SVG file into Canvas on line and converted to a *fcm file so that I could use it on my Scan n Cut.  These bags are surprisingly roomy and each holds a bar of handmade soap.

I can't decide what to make next for Christmas - any suggestions?
